It is rather unbelievable for a big pick-up truck that needs
a lot of torque and power to claim to be fuel efficient. But with innovative
technology, the 2015 Ram 1500 Big Horn Truck Quad Cab has successfully achieved
this feat.
Powerful Engine with
Fuel Efficiency
The 2015 Ram 1500 Big Horn Truck Quad Cab comes in three models,
namely: the 240-horsepower 3.0-liter EcoDiesel, the 305-horsepower 3.6-liter
395-horsepower 5.7 liter Pentastar V6 and the Hemi V8.
The most fuel efficient of these three is the EcoDiesel with
an impressive 27 to 28 miles per gallon on the highway, and that’s already
considering its eight-speed automatic transmission. As some car enthusiasts put
it, it simply is the “master of all trades.” In addition to its fuel
efficiency, it boasts 420 pound-feet of torque at only 2,000 rpm.
Head-turning Exterior
This pick-up truck doesn’t betray its name -- it is really
big and rugged. Its bold and wide chrome grille is hard to ignore, making the
whole truck stand out from the crowd. But what is impressive about this truck
is its rear fenders. They are not simply for show. The company innovatively
designed the tops of these car parts for the so-called Rambox storage system,
which has received positive feedback from drivers since its first launch.
